Every day is rewarding here at Bolesta Center- not a day goes by that I don't witness the success our kids can achieve. When a toddler calls out "good-bye Miss Kim" for the first time . . . or a child is taken off special graduation standards at school . . . or a teenager stops by to show us her new driver's license- these are all successes for kids who are deaf and hard of hearing. But today was especially gratifying.
Today we received notice that an alumni, Daniel Morales, will be graduating from the University of Notre Dame on May 16th. We're all so proud of Daniel's achievement and wish him the best of luck for what looks like will be a very successful future! Daniel is a great example of what our kid's can achieve. Learning to listen and speak at Bolesta Center was just the first step to a path that can lead to a life that is successful and rewarding. Congratulations Daniel!
