Former Bolesta Client Returns with a New Cochlear Implant!

Daniel Ors attended Bolesta Center when first amplified with hearing aids at around 18 months old.  He did so well that he eventually graduated from therpay and was successful in school.  He chose not to have a cochlear implant and began his first year in college at Dartmouth.  After a few frustrating months, he realized that he needed more access to sound.  He took a break from school and came home to pursue obtaining an implant.  Knowing that he would need therapy to learn to utilize this new technology, Daniel's mom Deni, called Bolesta Center once again.  Daniel began weekly sessions and "loves" his implant.  His speech intelligibility is improving and his confidence in the implant grows daily.  He is actively pursuing a second implant and will return to Dartmouth in March.  He is eager to share his story with others who may be considering a cochlear implant! Thanks Daniel for sharing your journey with us!
