"Being an Artist is a great job. They can use their imagination. They can make models for the scientists. They can make cool statues. They can paint their artwork. If I were an artist I would make big models you can climb on."
Rocco is in Kindergarten and loves going to school. He is in a regular education classroom and is on par with his typical hearing peers. In fact, he is one of the best students!! Rocco has a profound hearing loss and used to come to Bolesta every week. Now he visits every once in a while!! Thanks Rocco for writing a great Blog for us!!

Spring is here and that means one thing . . . it's time for our Pinellas County "Let's Hear It For Hearing!" Lunch. This year, the lunch will be held on April 6th at the Mahaffey Theater. Doors open at 11:30 and lunch is at noon. The best part? It's free! Please plan on attending this moving testimonial to the wonderful work we do teaching kids who are deaf and hard of hearing to use spoken language. I promise you that you'll leave a changed person. Just give me a call if you can attend or want to host a table of eight. I look forward to seeing you there!
